Day 1
Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up in Nairobi, where you meet your private safari guide and depart in a pop-up roof vehicle toward the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours, passing through the Great Rift Valley with scenic viewpoints along the way.
Arrive at your high-end lodge in time for lunch and a short rest.
In the late afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the Mara’s iconic plains. Lions, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of plains game are commonly sighted, and your guide tailors the experience to your pace and interests.
Return to the lodge at sunset for a relaxed dinner and overnight.
